Celestial Findings by ChaosFay Celestial Findings by ChaosFay
Pendant created by *balthasarcraft I received the pendant in trade and made custom pieces for her with other pendants she made. If you're interested in purchasing one of her pendants, each handmade and OOAK, please visit Balthasar Craft, her shop, to purchase her amazing jewelry.

Made using cotton cord NOT HEMP, glass pearls, rainbow flourite, and a handcrafted OOAK fluorite pendant.

From top of necklace to bottom of pendant: 11 in/28 cm
From end to end: 19.5 in/49.5 in

Rainbow flourite is often associated with these properties:
-It is a very useful crystal for grounding and harmonization of all spiritual energies in our microcosm.
-Fluorite is capable of enhancing intuition by making the link that exists between our human mind and the universal consciousness more transparent.
-fluorite is able to help apply these intuitive insights to all sorts of situations in our physical reality.
-this beautiful gemstone helps in coordination between the physical and metaphysical worlds, accelerating spiritual awakening, and increasing self respect.
-works on the mental level by amplifying our thought processes.
-It can be used to increase the ability to focus and concentrate, and some people have experienced increase in the intellectual development after regular use.
-From this we can conclude that fluorite properties are related to the spheres of the mind and spirit.
-Its accentuated mental influences help in our quick organization and processing of information.
-It brightens our mental capabilities, our stability and clarity.
-absorbs negative energies from our environment, cleanses the aura and the chakras, at the same time protecting us from psychic manipulations.

Description for entry: I have a strong tie to rainbow fluorite. I can't entirely explain why. The first time I touched one I knew it had to be mine. It's like a magnet for me. A lot of people are attracted to hematite and amethyst, as well as a variety of other stones. For me is fluorite. I have a lot of good memories with this stone, including dreams. When I look at the colors and hold it an inner calm moves through me. It reminds me of the northern lights and the dreamy display they create for us, as well as images taken by various telescopes. Nebulas, super novas, galaxies...so beautiful. I see these colors and when I look at the fluorite it makes me think of these things.

I designed this piece to have a dreamy effect. The twists and turns are tightly bound, like my tight bond with this particular stone. At the same time the piece is loose and flexible, like dreams. The darker beads reflect the darkness on the edges of our vision as we are captivated by the display created by the northern lights.

Unrelated to contest information
This piece was created using a pendant created by the amazing *balthasarcraft and given to me in trade. I created custom necklaces and chokers for her as part of my half. Here they are:

Very cool! I love the braiding of the chords along with the seemingly random bead pattern. It reminds me of bubbles. :giggle: The centerpiece with the wire holder is very pretty too. The stone is a nice, natural-looking shape, and it complements the beads and braids very nicely. Good job! :D

Thank you very much!  There's actually no braiding involved, but instead it's all knotwork.  :D

No prob! Right. I know that the chords are knotted for that effect, but it gives a braided appearance. I'm not a beader, so I didn't know what to call that effect. :XD:

I don't think I saw this in your shop, but is it for sale? Would it still apply to your 50% discount deal too? Either way, how much? :)

If you'd like to purchase it I'll put it up in my shop (notes about it in my description). It's $72 USD before discount.

Hmm, with our without the discount, I think that's a bit out of my budget at the moment, but I'll definitely keep it in mind :D I'm going to a festival this weekend and most likely doing some christmas shopping there, so most of my funds are going towards that...and my phone bill, but that /should/ be covered for. If so, I have like $30 towards the festival. xD

Well it's $72 before discount, which put it at below $40 after the coupon. ;)

This is true :D I'll certainly keep it in mind, there are only a few stands at fairs usually that interest me, so I should have a good amount of surplus and I might be able to snag it. No guarantees though, so you don't have to put it up on Etsy yet xD;

I'll be working a convention this weekend. If it sells I'll change the description stating that.
