Currently I'm experiencing that sudden change of the seasons. One day we're at 90+ degrees, the next it's only in the 70s. Overnight we're getting down into the 60s and 50s. It's a nice break to be sure, but it's so sudden. That crisp north wind brings the promise of desired change, more rain, and that relaxing sensation that the oppressive heat is about to leave us. The land is green, the trees aren't yet shedding their leaves, but they are showing the change of gold, yellow, and red tips on the leaves. More clouds are moving through, bringing the Autumn rains. I can feel it in my body, my spirit, and mind. So beautiful, so wonderful, and so perfect.
It leaves me breathless with its beauty. It's what inspired this piece. The white representing the spirit of change, the purity of this moment, as well as the clouds promising the Autumn rains. The large green beads are absolutely perfect for this with the paint lines on them, marking change. The gold rose beads are representative of the Autumn blooms, the flowers bursting with life at this time of year. The green glass pearls bring the two elements of the beads together. The pendant is like that of the winds, moving around with the rich crispness of the northern winds dancing around as spirits of the season.
Made using cotton cord NOT HEMP, glass pearls, acrylic rose beads, rubberized beads (velvety texture and lovely against the skin), and a pewter pendant.
