This is Karen modeling one of my chunk pieces. She is the only person I know of who can pull off wearing orange so well. I think it's because her skin tone is so warm. Anyhow, it has copper bells, glass and ceramic beads, and the pendant is made of glass.

No, I did not take the picture, the amazing Larry Ferguson took the picture.

It is a lovely piece! I happen to be attracted to orange in some instances, and can also wear it. Hmm ... those colors would also make a nice basket ... *lol*

I would, but my life is too simple for such a pretty thing. I have been eying your "Music of the Moonless Waves" but I do not think my neck would do it justice. I might want it for those occasions when I dance on the beach just wearing my skin and moonlight, though.

I wear bells daily during the summer when I go out. LOL Everyone knows I'm coming. :giggle: It's pretty awesome. An excuse to wear bells is a good excuse imho.

I like the idea of bells, especially in bear country. *lol* It is the wild "people" that I want to hear me coming! When I worked in the Alaska capital (civilization) at a newspaper I donned wearable art. One thing I wore made a lot of noise - a necklace made of tooled silver that had shaped butterflies that dangled and made beautiful music when I walked around the building. Now, I wonder how many people I annoyed, when I thought I sounded so pretty. *lol*

I annoy so many people with my damn bells. LOL I got complaints from where I used to work (I'm on disability now) as a cashier at a grocery store. The customers loved it! A few of them said they came through my lane because they loved the sound. My coworkers though...whine whine whine. It brought it business though so the managers didn't say anything to me. If they tried I would have kept on wearing them. It wasn't offensive, unlike some of the clothes a few of my coworkers wore. LOL If you ever want a tinkly piece let me know. I have a new batch of bells that sound soooooo amazing.

I do want a tinkly piece! I do! I do! I do! *lol* I just spent a good half hour tagging photos on your Etsy. Some of your work is just so inspirational, and I like how you observe and get yours from nature and seasons. I suppose like attracts like.

I wear my traditional dress, the kuspuk, over leggings, blue jeans or sweats and t-shirt most days. I have three dresses -- the one I am wearing on my blog, black with tiny white daisies with red center with gold and red trim (the one I wear the most); another that is red/white floral with silver and black trim that reminds me of Christmas for special occasions; and a pale orange floral one just newly purchased for Easter. Oh, I also have fabric for a teal / light blue one for the summer that I will have made for me soon. *lol* Your "Music of the Moonless Waves" would probably match that one perfectly. I should measure my neck. It has been years since I have worn jewelry, but yours are more like talismans and speak something deeper to me.

See, we are one step closer to you making a sale. :)

I love wearing dresses in summer. I make jewelry to match my clothes. I just looked up kuspuk (never heard that term before). There is very little info on what it is, but from what I can gather is a traditional dress work Eskimo women wear over their clothes. Very interesting...

If you want me to, after the convention on April 30th and May 1st, I can make a custom piece for you to match something you wear. Let me know if you'd like to commission that. No extra charge with commissions and no money up front until it's finished.
